but I am telling you the truth when I say I had an easier time dual booting freeBSD with Windows XP in 2003 than I am having installing any flavor linux on my current desktop
like, there are other issues to address, but arch has completed all steps of my checklist:
the maintainers are clowns when it comes to upstreams but manjaro is sorta arch but slightly more user friendly ime, though I don't know the past half year.
That's always been my experience with arch. Shit works, if you get it going at all
It's honestly sad that Arch is kinda the most stable distro around. It ain't easy to install but once it's running it rarely breaks. I've used the same installs for years at a time and the only reason I reinstall is that I'm moving to a new drive. I sadly can't say the same about any other distro I've used.
