nVidia launched a beta of the nvidia app, which looks like its going to replace the geforce experience. There's a bunch of cool changes, such as being able to set your gpu settings for specific games in app now as opposed to the old and slow nvidia control panel, a better auto HDR, etc.
The best change however is:
YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO BE LOGGED IN TO DOWNLOAD A NEW DRIVER
Wow this might actually be useful enough to install instead of telling geforce experience to pound sand every time I update my drivers.
Ah they're finally reversing the login decision and returning to No sign in needed. Fuckin FINALLY
