the unfortunate thing for me about "where are you going after cohost closes" is that i've only used cohost and my old private twitter for the last two years and i dont actually know what using other sites will feel like until im there. i cant give an answer i honestly expect to stick until after the site closes because i want to keep using cohost all i can until then. but i'm setting up my own web site with rss and i'll keep that updated to wherever i end up sticking around.

(i'll probably at least look at something in the fediverse- does anyone know if goblin.band and e.g. mastodon.social can interact with each other freely? it's taking me some time to understand how this all works but id still like to understand it.)

the actual feeling is that i don't want to go anywhere else. i don't care about platform features i just care about the spirit this place has and the people i've met here and don't want to lose that. it feels almost wrong to talk about future plans when the only thing i know for sure is that this place is the only place i've found where i've actually wholeheartedly wanted to stick around
