As i mentioned, the amount of money people were willing to give me after my very basic $300/mo poor people cheque was put on hold kind of boggled my mind. but, thanks to that help i could afford one of the purchases i've highly anticipated making in my transition: a literal breast plate.
a friend of mine has one of these (though theirs are massive and for me, b-cups would almost look too big let alone D-cups or larger) and they look great in it. one of the bigger sources of disappointment in my transition is, after four years or so of HRT, my tits are still puny. don't get me wrong, i love the little buddies, but the progression from four years ago isn't where i was hoping i would be. This breast plate is gonna help me feel a lot better in my own skin, funny enough!
Thank you again for your help, chosters. this is a huge leap for me, and in my opinion is more important to me than the decision between name brand or generic pop tarts.
immediately after buying this i had intrusive thoughts about people potentially being upset that their money was used toward a seemingly unnecessary aesthetic purchase rather than food and other essentials, so i just need everybody to understand this was an essential purchase to me. i've been feeling a lot of gender pain lately from the disappointment in my HRT progression, and just from Life In General. being able to wear bigger breasts once in a while will help me stay uplifted and excited about my transition.
sure, they're just tits, but they're gonna be my tits on my body. it gonna make brain go fwoosh
