And like, I've noticed that while I mostly feel like my current headspace picks what music I'll listen to, occasionally I feel like one of the others will choose something they think will suit my current headspace and it's interesting how it either ends up feeling like, either a mingling of the two tastes, or music meant to sooth some distress.
Also thinking about music and plurality, I feel it unlocks a new way to interpret songs as conversations between different aspects of myself and that is really something strange and wonderful.

Oh yeah that's a feel. My headmates and I have different types of instruments we gravitate toward, so when we're listening to music I (Aisling) will tend to sing along with the lyrics whereas Chester will beatbox along with the drums and Robert will wiggle our fingers on an imaginary keyboard

I think for me it seems to be that Jude prefers stuff she can sing along to in my (considerable) range, Chloe tends to lean on the message of songs, Holly focuses on tone, and V. is less discerning more prone to putting on music that is nice but not too intrusive because if I don't have music on I'll just end up with some obnoxious snippet of song on repeat in my head.
