a little more in depth:

the baseline setup on this car is junk, as it usually is on iR. The front wheels are cambered way out like it's a dodge neon pulling up to the car show, the front end feels completely dead in the mid-corner and it plows on exit. but i can feel the potency this car has on a road course. If I take some time in the setup menu i could probably make this car a blast to drive around the twisties.

unrelated to the driving experience, the racket this car produces is unlike anything iR has been able to produce before. This V8 sounds mean in a way I have never heard in a video game.

i can totally see myself having a lot of fun with this car in AI races around road courses it has no right racing at. this makes me really happy, given the brilliant iR racing experience with the older version of this car at Sonoma last week. a big upgrade in all the right ways.

well, when you update a brand new late model with brand new suspension geometry and brand new regulations, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the old setups you used weren't gonna work, Greg

edit: oh wait they developed the car and had new setups for it, but when they changed from the old damage model they use for production to the new damage model they have on all their new cars, it ended up screwing with the suspension somehow. that's... interesting
