I started doing some testing to figure out how the GTO and GTP class would interact in a racing scenario, and watched the races unfold. I'm gonna run a couple private session laps just to get a feel for what my pace will be against the AI drivers, and then we'll have an ideal AI difficulty range to utilize.
Unfortunately, Long Beach isn't tenable because some issues have cropped up with the Late Model. Drivers kept underestimating how big their cars were, which caused track blocking wrecks that I'm certainly not dealing with. So, Long Beach has now been replaced with Sonoma Raceway! The drivers here are much more reliable. Still prone to mistakes as some of you may have intended, but not anything too big.
Overall though, pretty excited about this! The AI is noticeably better than Race 07's, and it looks like there have even been improvements since i started considering iRacing for AI racing. wooooo!
