Tried to step my livery design game up with these two liveries I'm running for the Mercedes GT3 Evo in Assetto Corsa Competizione. I talk more about them under the break.

First design is based off of Cyberpunk Edgerunners character Rebecca. CP2077 has been one of my favorite games to come back to, with every playthrough being as fun as the last while I explore everything the game has to offer. The anime is that exact experience but in visual format, with Studio Trigger knocking it out of the park as they often do with the tasks they're handed, in my small experience with anime. The design is fairly simple on the face of it, with the side of the car playing off of fan artwork created by 陌芋Marginal, using the paint smears as a basis for the overall design there. The hood features thin lines to help push the design into a cyberpunk aesthetic, featuring Reflex 59 which is a short story I'm currently working on as a continuation of Tee Box.

The second is a more aggressive approach to the cyberpunk aesthetic featuring thick, matte lines cutting through the chrome blue-to-green fade underneath. It heavily features branding from Prismatic Motorsports, a simulation racing team I'm associated with which gives transgender people a safe place to conglomerate and gather without fear of derision from the rest of the community. The binary on the quarter panel of the car is the letter "N," representing En - one of my headmates who often shifts to the front when we're in the middle of a qualifying session and need to find more speed on the course. The blue in the chrome fade is also intentional, referring gently to Dashie - another headmate who also shifts into the drivers seat, but her expertise is during the race when we're around other cars and need to make safe but quick passes without losing too much time.

These two liveries were a hell of a challenge that's to the ABYSMAL UV mapping in ACC, and I ended up spending way more time on these skins than I would have liked. Still, I really like how they turned out - having to work around the UV issues gave me limitations to work within, which allowed me to make creative decisions I wouldn't make if I was given an easier UV to put a texture to. What do yall think?
