learnin' how to tweak parts of the setup menu for the late model that never made sense to me before, so hopefully i can make a road course setup that feels real good. whether it's a fast setup or not doesn't matter, i just want this car to feel real nice in my hands
to be clear it already did feel very fun to drive, i just wanna figure out what all the adjustments do so i can tame some of the adverse handling situations i find myself having at times. for example, as a result of some of my adjustments the cross weight was too far offset for a road course, which means the car was trying to pull in one direction over the other. great for ovals, not for road courses! so i learned how to manage cross weight.
on top of that i also learned what packers do. the packer setting is increased if the front end is bottoming out on corner entry, braking or through elevation changes. more packer makes the suspension get firm sooner in the compression stroke of the spring to prevent bottoming out and scraping the front lip of the car on the ground, which loses front grip.
packers also alleviate gender dysphoria in stock cars
