the ending of a conversation is a multi-step process:
- slap thighs or clap hands and say "welp, i better skedaddle"
- approach the door to leave, open it
- stand in the open doorway letting multiple flies inside while continuing the conversation for five more minutes
- progress slowly to the driveway as the conversation continues for another five minutes
- open the car door, let flies into your car and talk for another five minutes
- get in the car and open the window, keep talking for another ten minutes
- you finally end the conversation with "welp, i better head oat now"
- you back up from the driveway, wave for a final time and drive away.
- it took you almost half an hour to leave after the first time you announced your intention to leave.
- this is a normal saskatchewan thing.
