the thing i love most about being trans and having it be such a fundamental part of who i am is that the philosophical engagement one can have with one's gender as it relates to themselves spiritually, physically, internally AND externally is just fucking beautiful. from the poetic and gorgeous explanation provided here by @albatris to the simple and aggressive "it/its because fuck it i said so," gender can be so incredibly impactful and unique to fuckin everyone and i love it so fucking much
