at some point in the mid 2000s i remembered a ridiculous site where you could go and make a suggestion and a guy would make a song based on your suggestion.

i think for a while people were yukking it up at this site daily, but i only ever went there once, and the one song i clicked on was the only one i needed. the prompt was

can you make a song about how radical jennifer b is?

and that's what they did. this was an injoke with me and friends for years, but eventually i forgot where i'd gotten it from. i could not remember anything else about this for a little more than a decade. i periodically tried to dig up the name of the site with no luck.

finally, sometime this year, i realized it was Songs To Wear Pants To, which it turns out was a very early project by Andrew Huang. In short order i was able to locate the page in question on internet archive.

the song is on youtube. here it is.

wait, that's not common knowledge? I went to see him and Gunnarolla at a meet and greet in Regina and i got to request Andrew to play pink fluffy unicorns lmao

oh no the site's not up anymore? rip. my favorite songs to wear pants to was any of the ones where he got a request to make music for some really earnest, mushy lyrics and he would just make the most inappropriate music possible, it always hit
