The Novamari KDM-8B Eggbug Edition is now available for download. It features the same 950 horsepower turbocharged V8, 6-speed gearbox and 1400 or so pounds of downforce that the original KDM-8B has in the CAMSOL Hyper Touring Prototype Challenge, but now includes a customized interior with working tach and speed gauges and steering wheel. It also features the Cohost maroon and peach colours pallette, and a few eggbugs here and there.
The download also includes the road-going KDM-8 Routiere, a homologation version of the racecar. It has a much less powerful but still rowdy, naturally aspirated V8 paired with a 6-speed h-pattern transmission (or is it 5-speed? i can't remember). With much less downforce and road radial tires, it's still a handful to drive.
Also in the download are some wallpapers and magazine cutouts about the lore of the KDM-8B, which were used in CHTPC. The Eggbug Edition will be competing in the last half of the CHTPC season in celebration of Cohost and its community.
