and he would definitely love you too !

we got wolfie right before the first lockdown. he was a feral (see his cute half moon clipped ear) and he ended up being taken in by a different rescue from the one that released him originally. they had had him a while by the time we discovered him, and it took from october all the way to late february to complete the adoption process. a very long time. that rescue was a bit strange tbh?

but the strangest part is, we were not allowed to meet him (there were no restrictions back then, not yet). we just had to go pick him up from a vet clinic in the big town. i was looking for a very specific kind of lil guy to help with my panic attacks so whether wolfie had the right personality for me had been discussed plenty, but still.

when the vet brought him out and opened the crate door on the table he came out bumbling and rumbling and purring louder than i'd ever heard a cat purr before. he headbutted me in the belly and immediately flopped to show me his own belly. and he looooved belly rubs. and once we got home he did not care for the private room we prepared for him to get settled in - he just wanted to sit in my arms and purr forever.

he got the name wolfie because he has lots of dog qualities. after erika's cat in barbie princess and the pauper.

it's nearly four years now and he has grown infinitely cuddlier, though i did not think that possible. all he ever wants to do is hang out and headbutt my face and kiss my nose and chat to me.

he is a very loving cat <3
