Hi i'm Val. I make comics. here are some things I'm working on and some things you can read right now (everything listed is for mature readers!):
"AMPLE" is an improvised horror/romance comic about a middle-aged prioress and the cannibalized saint who keeps appearing to her. I'm currently posting process for Chapter 2 on my Patreon. This comic will eventually be hosted for free as a webcomic, but you can buy a pdf of Chapter 1 here.
"In Fair Verona" is a horror.....ish? comic i'm working on for ShortBox's 2024 Comics Fair. It follows a pair of girls who enter the service of the Princess of All Blood. One is there to be loved, while the other is to be tortured....though strange circumstances have blurred the lines between the two. I'm currently posting process for this comic on my Patreon., and I'll link to it once it goes live on October 1st.
"When Death Comes, I Will Follow" was my comic for ShortBox's 2023 Comics Fair:
Death comes swiftly in this land, but no longer leaves an object to be mourned.
In her efforts to prolong the inevitable, a knight takes refuge in the bones of a convent.

"I am of Two Hearts" was my comic for ShortBox's 2022 Comics Fair (are you noticing a pattern?).:
Emissary Thresa will be executed on return to his King. Before his death, he visits the temple of his birth.

Finally, "Délicatesse" was the first substantial minicomic I've ever made, completed in 2021:
Primrose Van der Peer, an operatic contralto, has only played men onstage. Her debut as a leading lady should feel monumental, an invitation to the femininity she's always been denied, but instead the role seems to haunt her, even when she's not performing.
At this point it feels like an outlier from the work I've made since, and many of my storytelling sensibilities grew from things I wish I did differently with this comic. It can be downloaded for free here, or read on my website.
I'm in the process of moving off of Squarespace (cringe) and building my own site on Neocities (based). Any links to my website should carry over once I make the switch, but if they don't I will update them when the time comes :^)
