i spent a lot of my free time the past weeks taking it easy and playing touhou mystia izakaya, the pixel art cutscene illustrations in that game are really gorgeous! ive been wanting to dip my toes back into pixel art and they really inspired me, so i decided to use this opportunity to familiarize myself with aseprite more and draw an illustration in a similar style. not really mimicking the game's art, just used the same size for the canvas and drew a picture as i would normally except in a much smaller format with clearer pixels. i had so much fun that i just banged out the entire thing in one sitting!!!
