🌻ask me about my ttrpgs!🌻
I've committed to just waiting out any details about this particular incident for a few weeks.
But one thing I keep mulling over is - Someone at the Secret Service, either now or in the past several decades, was probably very into statistics. Someone, somewhere, had to figure out how large of an area you sweep for site security for people under secret service protection.
Like it's an assumption of their job that there will be someone motivated to harm a candidate/president/former president, and in the US they will be able to access a firearm with certain qualities. So someone sat down and figured the distances you need to keep those two things away from someone under secret service protection to keep them, statistically, safe, probably by figuring out what the accurate range for a moderately trained person with an AR-15 is.
I deleted that reply post with the Instagram screenshot after I couldn't verify it, because this is absolutely correct and I was being overly credulous.
he was wearing a t-shirt for youtube gun channel "demolition ranch"

yeah there's so much bullshit flying around I don't know what to believe yet myself. my own suspicion, based merely on the fact that the GOP has some serious problems with Trump, is that the Republicans may have...at the very least...permitted some sort of incident. otherwise... shrugs
studying how the Republicans have been trying to propagandize the event has been interesting, though exhausting ~Chara
look I'm not a geologist but I'm pretty sure his motivation was that he wanted a piano
I'm just on my knees giving thanks the story didn't start with anything like "a nonbinary pagan who often self-identified as a 'communist' and 'antifa' in online postings..."
This has honestly been my feeling too. I've been avoiding saying to avoid bringing it into existence. Still hoping they don't find anything either.
