Something so uptight about it. It and Monogame are like exes which still define themselves by one another: Monogame still smokes, but FNA gave it up. FNA wears tailored suits, while Monogame wears muscle tanks that show off his sleek arms. The two are in constant orbit even from a distance: once so similar they were indistinguishable, now ever-so-different... but always moving in precisely opposite directions. They are one another's Mount Fuji; each defines himself by the other's absence.
FNA presents himself as a challenge. He's an archivist, after all -- to know his docs is to know him. He refuses to entertain questions which have already been answered elsewhere.
And, unfortunately for them both, Monogame likes a challenge.

Q: I'm new to programming and-
A: Hi there! Glad you've taken an interest in programming. Please do not use FNA yet.
While FNA is a programming tool, it is targeted specifically at experienced programmers. If you are not familiar with C# and msbuild (via Visual Studio, MonoDevelop, or maybe just the XML format?) you will not have a good experience.
It is required that you learn at least the basics of the above, and also the difference between managed and native code, before using FNA.
Q: Where is PlayStation support?
A: If a project comes along and there's money behind it, we'll do it. There are a couple pending projects already, but you should not hesitate to get in touch if you have SDK access and are willing to develop and/or fund the completion of FNA PS4/PS5.
Q: Where is Android support?
Android is not and cannot be supported. The solution you just thought of does not work. No, not that other one either. Or even the one someone got booting, almost.
Internally, we have what's called a "body count" for anyone that tries to add support. It was pretty funny, at least for the first dozen increments.
Q: I have a bug when running on VirtualBox, and-
A: The bug is that you are using VirtualBox. Please use VMware Player instead.
Q: I have a bug when running on .NET Core, and-
A: The bug is that you are using .NET Core. We have a very narrow list of exceptions for this (basically Xbox One and nothing else), but in almost all cases the problem is that you are using a runtime that is not designed with compatibility in mind.
Q: What happens if I ask a question that's answered in this wiki?
A: Bubs voice That'll be five dollars. No, this isn't a joke. Expect a link to the sponsors page for each of your requests.
