looking for more of oyvind thorsby's work, i found your post about them - its really fun to see that they're all worth reading! ive only read trixie slaughteraxe
and hitmen for destiny previously.
do you have any other favorite artists/writers in that wheelhouse? i love thorsbys work, but i have a hard time finding artists similar!

thank you!

Unfortunately, nobody can compare to Øyvind Thorsby. There is nobody like him. He is completely unique. If anyone ever finds a readalike for him please tell me because I need more.

It's amazing how there's nobody who does it like him. Anyone who even approaches his style in one way is always so far off in another way that comparing them feels wrong. It's like if Yorgos Lanthimos wrote a Discworld novel while obsessively binge-watching Coen Brothers movies. He's the king of surreal scifi farce

FINALLY, ANOTHER FAN OF HFD AND TRIXIE! I've been trying to occasionally pester friends into reading them, and this prompted me to try again. Mixes speculative biology, obscene levels of creative/conditional magic powers, and absolute farce on a unfathomable scale. It is amazing, and the phrase "I disagree! Only two princesses have died! That's one of the lowest numbers of dead princesses you can have!" lives rent free in my head.
