Holy crap, what a good episode. This episode somehow hit nearly everything I like about Leverage: the convoluted heists, the found family dynamics, Hardison and Parker's very real (and yet fantastical) relationship. Generally speaking, Leverage: Redemption is a lot sloppier in its plotting than the original show, but when it pulls itself together, it sparkles.

it's pretty good!! the best way to articulate the vibe is "very well-done leverage fanfic." it's not quite the same as the original show, but it gets pretty dang close, and the episodes where it gets overtly political really shine (i'm personally a fan of The Unwellness Job and The Great Train Job in that category). plus it's marginally gayer than the original show
