good thing the internet hasn't incentivized personal confession as a primary artistic mode, that could get REAL fucked up!
There's this incident I'll always remember where I was on a small web forum, and someone was talking about [REDACTED], and I said... please, can we not talk about this, it messes me up very badly when people talk about [REDACTED] or post pictures of [REDACTED]. And the person immediately responded by loudly copypasting a block of text about [REDACTED], in capital letters, over and over, then and again and again for weeks until everybody was actually really irritated at him, for no reason other than that I'd asked him not to. And what was interesting there was I was one of the more senior and well-respected people on that particular forum, and I knew the mods, and probably if I'd said "either he goes or I go" they'd have banned him especially since like I said they actually found it kind of irritating, but I didn't do that, instead I just never told anyone on the Internet ever again what my triggers are even when it became relevant
