working on card game UX is 50% making every single UI element have tween animations, and 50% making every single UI element have tween animations
I’m not making a card game but something in a similar genre that benefits massively in information delivery that’s basically “this bit zoops here then zoops there”
it's SO IMPORTANT lol. I've never worked in such a zoop-heavy genre before
I have an extreme aversion to overly polished/juiced games for various reasons but it is nice (and annoying) when those tools work ahha
i don't think that there are any animations in many card games like: poker, magic the gathering, pokemon
