Well, if I can't fully talk about it yet, I want to hear your thoughts. What do you think is the number one thing that SNAKE FARM 1 was missing that you'd like to see in a sequel?

Like when I first saw it I thought "wow if I ever needed to make a 'real animal or Magic: the Gathering card' quiz this is it" but tbh it probably wouldn't be so great for that because it's so on the nose that people would sus out that it wouldn't be included unless it was the counterintuitive answer

Probably not what you’re asking about, but some sort of (optional) player/camera interpolation. With how hectic Snake Farm gets after you survive the first few days, the jittering becomes kinda distracting.

more snakes like lootsnake, pain in the ass to kill for whatever reason, ramps your run otherwise.

and maybe some 2 step conditionals. If enemy is slowed past a certain point, do more damage type shit.

this is a half shitpost but I figure so are the rest of the items:

saddle item that let's you safely ride vehicles but "as if it was a wild horse imo.*

0 player control input (it's got a mind of its own)

faster than you can run. First collision with a snake gives you stealth socks style invincibility.

normal ranks increase the number of times you can ride through snakes without getting hurt before recharging (maybe duration some ranks, number others).

max rank let's you summon your loyal (but still wild and uncontrolable) steed.

Getting hit knocks you off.

No innate projectile immunity.

synergy with lasso: shooting tractor pulls you onto it, shooting snake heads or final tail segments grapples them but you lose the grapple if you continue to shoot them.

alternatively if that's too many items required at once, that but instead they're sand worm hooks and if you can hook behind the snake head you get to drive it. no invincibility.
