i am finding this to be absolutely true as i work on my js13k submission, but possibly for different reasons. every additional thing that only does one thing is a blight and must be folded in unless absolutely necessary
1 winning all the superlatives in the number yearbook—most dangerous, loneliest...
this reminds of i think the Into The Breach dev talking about numbers in games saying "One is a perfect mumber for games, it's clear to the player, its easy to work with. the problem is that one plus one is two, which is DOUBLE one!"
