‘Meanwhile’ is an album about the passage of time. It’s a collection of piano and chiptune duets that have bloomed gradually over the last 10 years of our lives.

We always intended to release a sequel to our first album, ‘The Black Box’, but life kept getting in the way. Slowly but surely, we found little in-between moments to write personal music together. These songs are like our stolen musical kisses.

To be able to commit to something for 10 years and finally see it through is an incredible feeling. Thank you for listening to ‘Meanwhile’. We hope you enjoy this chronicle of our voyage.

this album is unbelievably good (well except i can believe it i guess!!), highly recommended listening

all the parts and phrasing and pacing are so thoughtful, the development of ideas stunning; it's both meticulously written and masterfully nimble at the same time, like run-flying on top of air. you can tell these ideas had ample time to marinate and eventually take exactly the right, specific shape.

one of the best albums of the year. do yourself a favor and loop Meanwhile!!!

I'm so sorry I missed the premiere, but congrats to you both on finally completing such an enormous work of art! with a kid even!! I'll definitely share my thoughts when I'm done listening!

of course!

and update: I finished it, it kicked my ass. Lots of orange and yellows in this album! Time Travel is my favorite track, my brain is flooded with inspiration. I didn't want the album to end.
