#14 - retirement home for millennials
i've always found the notion of going to a retirement home or a nursing home super unpalatable, so i get why a lot of people are reluctant or angry when their families make them do that (or nudge them into it or whatever). i'd be prideful too i think. depending on how my health shakes out in a whole bunch of years, i guess that could be me though. there's a vanishingly small chance of me having a family of my own, or other family members left, by the time i'm that age, so i guess it's worth acknowledging that could be me. maybe there'll be a cool one. maybe it isn't as massively bleak as i perceive it. but i kinda hope that's not the way it shakes out. no way to find out but to keep on livin'. sorry this one's kinda dark lol
