I'm struggling with this but I've gotten as far as shutting up when I think negativity is gonna come outta my mouth
its an uphill battle and i sometimes forget to do this, but i've been telling myself i'm the hottest person alive and always objectively correct in everything when i spectacularly fuck up and eat shit. the disproportionately self-aggrandizing statements give it extra comedic value, in my not-so-humble opinion, but sometimes i am concerned that i might be unbalancing the positivity-negativity scales in the opposite direction.
Self-aggrandizing jokes are where it's at, I started doing this and now my skin is diamond and the sea boils where I walk
This can actually work? I need some kind of brain magic like this when I pile on 20 different rationalizations writing a proof in my head for why I unequivocally suck ass
Do you have an exemple ?
I can't think of anything funny about me that would also be uplifting.

what if i only make fun of myself for stuff I actually feel very cool and confident about
