....specifically bc i decided to watch through the reboot again. Man they were really cooking something for a hot minute there huh? This show really didn't deserve to be lumped in with supernatural and sherlock. Actually ok it makes sense that the 11th doctor and onward would be, due to moffat, but yknow. Anyway,
So there's the episodes where they introduce the cybermen, right. And the big thing about them is that they're human brains in a robot body, and they all have emotional inhibitors because if they didn't, they'd be horrified of themselves and their loss of humanity and basically instantly freak out and die
And boy does that explanation not hold up to me today. Like fuck dude i wouldn't need emotional inhibitors i'd be thriving. Flourishing, even. Clearly the writers should have consulted more weird online transfems, which is definitely a thing, that the BBC could have realistically done, in the early 2000s,
Idk where i was going with this. They should let me write a doctor who episode where someone goes through the whple cyberman upgrade process and gets gender euphoria from it
