A not too impressive screenshot of a very fun arcade conversion from the early days of the platform. You have to follow the road and take out enemy spies using fancy gadgets (picked up from driving into the trucks at speed. The truck will also drop you off at the beginning of your game (as seen here), or when you lose a car. As you progress through the game, you face ever tougher enemies, like helicopters that drop bombs on the road. Oh, and at some points you turn into a boat, because why not. Spy Hunter might be simple, but it's hard not to like, and it's got a neat version of the James Gunn theme playing in the background. The C64-version of the Bally Midway original was done by Sega.
