narrative designer, goofball

i was one of the final narrative designers on KKH before EA shut the team down and let a bunch of us go. i always feel weird talking about it in spaces like cohost — i'd be lying if i said i didn't feel a sense of derision amongst my peers regarding mobile games at a certain scale — but it was a wonderful time in my career, and a true pleasure to work with an incredible team that deserved much, much better than what they got.

i feel particularly bad for the fanbase, as well — this game meant a lot to so, so many and it's been completely wiped off the face of the earth forever

thank you! and yes, it absolutely is. i used to be quite self-loathing re: my position as a mobile narrative designer (and don't get me wrong, there's still lots of problems in that space) but working on KKH really made me appreciate how valuable mobile games can be in reaching overlooked and underserved demographics!
