lot o people seem to really like the art in the new marathon trailer and i gotta be totally honest i am not seeing it, or my tastes are just entirely at odds. it's got like, a plasticky sterility to it that makes it look like the halfway point between action figures never removed from packaging, paintball for rich people, and concept art printed in popular science magazine to advertise the ideas of ideologically fraught tech-utopians, and im profoundly unexcited by any of those things

Yeah the only shot that stood out to me at all was the one that looked like someone in a latex vacuum bed lol
yeah i think that's the one part that kinda caught my eye too, and even that is like, "this is not gonna be near as striking without that Cinematic Trailer Expensive Lighting huh"
