About a year ago, I played a short, exploratory campaign of Burning Wheel with some other folks to check out what that system was like. I blogged about the character creation, and the campaign's most lasting impact on me was sparking an interest in lifepath systems in TTRPGs.
At the time I didn't know about cohost, so I had set up a group blog where I made several posts working more or less chronologically through any lifepath system I could find. This whole project was derailed by some life stuff; said stuff has resolved now, so I thought I would pick up this series over here on cohost. For completeness, though, I wanted to have a post here on my page that linked back to those earlier posts:

At the end of the fourth post, I say that the next one will by Cyberpunk 2020, and I did get most of the way through a CP2020 character. However, I find both the systems and setting pretty uninteresting there and have struggled to find motivation to write a full post. I may return to Cyberpunk 2020 for completeness, but the next post I make here will be on 1999's MechWarrior 3e.
