that i was living at my old place and still had the hotel night shift job i quit several years ago. i was late getting to it on account of it snowing and had to call to let the shift before me know. when i arrived, the previous shift was a very kindly elderly lady who needed my help setting up a "game console" for some guests (it looked like an elongated triangular television remote with several exposed AA batteries).
i found a wide variety of books i had left behind at this workplace (none of them were real), and thought about stealing a coworkers "game console" but thought better of it.
