can I see your battlestations?
this is my standing desk, with my Moonlander, 34" monitor, trackball mouse and Toshiba Portege R830-13C which is now ten years old and still powering my OpenBSD desktop :~)
the desk is just some IKEA desk with some trestles underneath it that i store boxes and other things in. for the monitor raiser, i'm using this classic IKEA hack. i currently don't have a decent desk chair, so instead i'm using this wicker chair which has been in the family forever, dating all the way back to my great grandma. there's also an old IKEA desk lamp in the back. the mouse pad is from IKEA too.

- case: Corsair 110R
- mobo: MSI B550-A PRO
- OS: just Windows 10 Pro which i didn't pay a cent for because i use MAS

- keyboard: Keychron K8 keyboard + Epomaker TH21 numpad
- monitors: 2x MSI Optix G241V E2
- controller: just an XBox Series controller
there's also a USB optical drive on top of the cassette deck + a USB hub behind them that i connect everything up to!
okay the cameras on the desk aren't peripherals but i didn't know where else to put this! from left to right, they are a Dacora Digna, Ilford Sporti, and a Dacora Dignette. only the Digna is in working condition. i've previously shot some pictures on it too! i own two Kodak Brownies too, might be time to put them on my desk somewhere.
music gear
- headphones: Beyerdynamic DT-770 Pro 80ohm. on my third pair since 2016 because i practically never take them off :)

- cassette deck: JVC TD-X331
- mic: a Tascam DR-05 recorder on a mic arm
in terms of instruments, pictured here are a Eurorack system (Modulargrid page for those who are interested), a Korg Monologue, and a Sela Varios cajon. i've also got a few Korg Volcas, a Novation Circuit, a Bass Station II which broke many years ago, and some pedals. but i don't really use all of those so i don't have them on my desk. for the Eurorack system and the Monologue, i'm using two Innox keyboard stands.
the guitar isn't even worth mentioning tbh. it's some cheapo kids guitar from some noname brand.
the cassette player i recently got is a Philips Skymaster mk. II, in case anyone was wondering. it's next to the cassette deck on my desk.
art
i have a bulletin board for putting art and other memories on! the walls are too thin for me to screw anything in there, so it's entirely held up by some extremely strong foam tape. i can't possibly link all the art on there, but here's a selection from top to bottom:
- some prints of some of Piet Mondriaan's earliest works i got at Villa Mondriaan
- a photo of king Willem-Alexander
- the takeoff coverart
- this artwork
- sketches from @sharpiepaws
- some thank you cards from ParcelPup, @ivy, and @fwf
- several pieces of paper from my trip to the US earlier this year; there's a boarding pass, a customs inspection notice, a claim tag, and a card from the Baltimore tourist center
- prints of art by @SquidDied and Lynn
- DESKPOP: Green Version
- a slap by Blue
- a sticker and a drawing by @rainedoe
stickers on the case include:
- this one by @fwf
- a few stickers from Hyena Agenda
- a few hand drawn ones of my sona by @sharpiepaws
- a sticker from Intellijel that came with one of their modules
- a sticker by starry of their fursona
- @ivy dog
- there's a DESKPOP sticker but it's not in view
- yes that holo rainbow paw sticker is very cool but i don't like the creator so i don't care about linking it 🤗🤗
there's also a huge stack of label 228s and some posca pens underneath the monitor raiser. i have most of my art supplies in a drawer on the other side of my room, though.
the framed art on the wall are some abstract paintings i made when i was a teen. the frames on the floor contain a poster of the Mackinac Bridge that i bought at their visitor office, and a framed poster of T-RREx.
plants
i've already been writing this post for over an hour because i'm autistic so for now i'll leave it to @spiders if she wants to identify all of them xdxdxd
