The rest of Japanese entertainment should honestly be counting their lucky stars I only more or less exclusively translate games for a living (because those other industries have an even worse track record of offering living wages to translators) or else just about every client I'd be working with to localize a new IP from scratch would learn about the one hill I'm willing to die on that's even less likely to succeed than getting The Discourse to recognize visual novels, adventure games, and dating sims aren't all the same thing, and that is
I honestly think it's okay to not localize every title that's a sentence in Japanese into an English sentence, that the whole trend is incredibly overplayed and stopped being cute after the third time in general, and that actually just titling things normally would probably make a lot of properties feel more approachable to people who aren't already all in on them.
