out of interest, which part was it for you that stood out most immediately as wrong there?

for me, if it's -7°C (I presume you are talking of 20°F) I would not even consider the option to use a hose, because either that's gonna have ice in it (and might burst), or you're making sure it's gonna have ice in it afterward. only after thinking of that did I think of what spraying a car with water in sub-zero temperatures would entail
