I finally bought a second monitor for myself after realizing I can use the USB-C port to extend my screen space with it instead of not just being limited to mirroring it like I am over HDMI. Nothing too fancy, but has some nice features for $150 and I'm putting it through its paces the only way I know how: with another newly bought dating sim arcade PCB like the heathen that I am, namely Taito's classic(?) Magical Date, which is more of a minigame compilation with some relationship mechanics slapped onto it, but still. It handles it like a champ, and that's what counts.
(If you're a longtime follower and this looks familiar to you, it's because I actually also own the second, slightly expanded release of this game, which is mostly the same thing, but adds a few more minigames. There's no real reason for me to own this whatsoever other than due diligence as a dating sim collector, but since I found it for cheap, I jumped on it and now here you are, subjected to the poison dart frog fighting game again. 🐸)
