I chanced upon a working Saturn mouse with the box in a junk accessories bin at a local Book Off over the weekend, something that's been on my shopping list since getting back to Japan this past summer so that I can play the system's myriad adventure games and PC ports. Now that I'm about as fully kitted out as I could possibly be, I'm feeling it's about time I revisit Kojima Productions' not-so-secret (if you've followed me online for any length of time, at least) greatest series to this day from the very beginning, as tempting as it it is to go straight to the narratively sublime last game headlined by Shiori. And by god, you can be sure I'll be doing a run or two of the original game this way in due time, too, rest assured.
