On a lighter note, YouTube suddenly started feeding me old Onion News Network videos again several weeks ago for reasons I didn't really understand (though I think I do now after googling what's been going on with their ownership status in recent weeks) and while a handful of videos get a little dicey in terms of "we don't use those words anymore when we wanna be funny" sort of way, man, at their best, the ones that hit back in the day still hit hard now. Even if we have a few decent imitators these days, none of them really manage to capture the sheer unhinged energy that ONN and Clickhole unleashed constantly in their prime. As much as comedy revivals don't tend to do much for me, if ONN really is coming back, you better bet I'll have my eye on it.
