I thought people were joking at first when I heard about the new Gundam stuff in CoD and my main thought about it other than "Boy, Namco didn't wait for the corpse of its Gundam FPS to get cold before joining forces with the game they were trying to ape in the first place" is that it feels like a shame when you're wearing those skins that a voice clip of Setsuna yelling he is Gundam doesn't play every time you kill a dude. Feels like if you're gonna have Snoop and Cheech and Chong doing their thing in VO that you might as well get indulgent here, too, I dunno. 🤷
