Made a new friend at the local gachapon machine today. There are a handful of different facial expressions you can get of both Don and Katsu, but this was exactly the one I wanted, so I'm content. 😌
Even the way he was dispensed is cute. Instead of coming in a typical plastic gachapon egg, Don-chan himself just rolled out of the machine, with the feet and drumsticks inside him waiting to be assembled upon removing the face to open him. (And yes, the face and body sound noticeably different when you tap on them.)
The face has an alarming knack for falling off by itself while standing up, forcing me to tape it up from the inside, but still 100% worth the existential horror to have him on my work desk.
