whoever's playing as me in this dating sim needs to do a better job watching out for secret heroines because "sharing an empty curry stand in the middle of a busy train station with nobody other than a crazy cute girl wearing a 'byu [brigham young] dad' sweatshirt¹ whose company alone made the worst restaurant curry you've had in years taste good" is as good a recipe for a route as any, except my shy ass was too nervous to ask her for her line user before she left despite her seeming interested too and i couldn't find her in the station when i left all of a minute later 😭

and judging by what she was telling the owner about coming there decades ago and only coming back in another couple decades, i don't think there are any other flags i can trigger to activate the route elsewhere 💀

i was out in osaka tonight throwing away gobs of cash at games to cure myself of cabin fever and while i was sitting on some rare actual public seating in this country debating whether to head home, another super cute girl in glasses just strolls up and asks in japanese if she can sit in the seat across from me? and then we got to talking about random stuff after she asked me for directions and we actually swapped line users this time?

and when she realized i was hungry and hadn't eaten for a while and was super worried for me for some reason and i somewhat jokingly but not not flirtingly said she was welcome to join me for dinner if she was so intent on making sure i ate, she said yes and then... we just walked over to another part of town and had dinner together??? and did i mention that she's super cute and has a killer sense of humor and it felt like the most natural thing in the world to just do what we were doing???

and we ended up spending like two hours together, all because i happened to be sitting in the right place at the right time while she was lost and trying to find her train station to go home???

i still have no idea who's playing this dating sim or if this route will go anywhere, but good job, dude, you managed to not botch the secret encounter this time, i'm proud of you, keep it up 😭😭😭
