Final Fantasy X is probably the most interesting game I've played in a while, and I mean that in both a bad and a good way.
There's so much wrong with this game, problems that I have with FF as a whole and problems weirdly unique to this game that we've seen both the 2D entries and the prior 3D efforts manage much more gracefully. The game does a good few things right, but it doesn't commit to them and wastes an awful amount of time on things that are just bizarre or outright bad. the gameplay has unique fun elements mixed with a lot of terrible balancing and design decisions
it's such a mixed bag which I can't fully hate but I can't love either.
