My verdict is... I didn't expect to vibe this much with this game but I do lol
Sure it is clunky but it's aged surprisingly well. It's simple, the map has enough landmarks to make it easy to navigate, I only checked an external map once and it was right at the end to make sure I was heading the right direction. Metroid shells do a lot to help guide you thru.
