I was using Joplin for a while, but the sync to my selfhosted nextcloud got really clunky and it's really annoying me, so I'm in the lookout for alternatives. I could also get dedicated space for those backups of course if I can't really find something better
needs:
- good for todo/checklist stuff
- good for writing notes
- good for writing recipes? I like compiling the stuff we cook so we have it somewhere without ads and such
- preferably FOSS
- iOS compatibility not needed. Needs to work on Linux, Windows and Android
- if possible, I'd like to be able to share edit some notes with wife
