Early concept, a lot of UI work to be done, but it works! I'm happy the weeks I spent on remaking the whole backend code for menus was worth it, as it made stuff like this much easier to implement.

Saw a post about the Kenney input prompts and laughed because i was already using them for this!
Base input prompts by Kenney, modified to more closely match the style of Cave Story by me.
I'm glad to announce that Version 1.5 is finally done! It's mostly a small update in terms of features, only adjusting some elements such as the issues when saving the Music, SFX, Rumble and Map Style settings. I've also adjusted the colors for the Game Boy palette, and a couple rendering issues with the minimap.
More importantly, this update is also fully supported by Randovania and ships as an export option for the Cave Story randomizer! It's already included in it so no need to replace your files, it will just do it for you. Supports both Windows and Linux and is fully Multiworld compatible thanks to the help of Periwinkle.
Keep in mind the rando version is a bit different from the base build as it removes a couple elements Rando had no need for (such as the Boss Rush mode).
You can check the official manual and find downloads here!
It fixes some issues with the map system rendering when opened from the inventory or when the pause menu is opened while the map is opened. It also adds sounds to indicate map scrolling, and updates credits in a couple places.
