I was unsure abt John darnielles book Devil House at first. I liked Wolf in White Van and the premise sounded up my alley, but I'm still not sure I find the main viewpoint character all that compelling?
That being said I got to the stuff where it's the white witch of moro Bay from what's kinda her perspective Sorta, leading up to and including the murders and that was Very interesting.
And then I realized that's bc her life is mine if I lived then. Flat out. And like I have to consider....would I have snapped and gone so far in that circumstance? Idk.
