so i was playing portal 2 and then the battery of the base of my laptop that powers the dedicated gpu died so the graphics crashed. all well and good, but the game actually still seemed to be responding to keyboard and mouse inputs, because i could hear the pause menu making noises
so in what i thought was a slick and efficient move, i tried to open the console and type quit to exit the game. didn't work. had to exit through taskbar. ok whatever problem solved
only for me to tab into discord an hour later and find that i had posted the word quit in a discord channel... right after a post my friend made sharing his art...... and i got a response saying "huh" and a question mark reaction................
