i have been playing more the last few days (tearing myself away from balatro and sdvx) and the game really does just delight every time. (minor wall of text lies beyond)
saw some stock time scenes with oomfies that have made me consider the use of cheat engine. i think what i appreciate and what's different between this and cold steel is that i would do it to see all the scenes just to see them, more than for any gameplay bonuses. because they were so diluted in cs that you had to do way more and much less happened. whereas here any choice you make is substantial. it's good scenes no matter what you just have to weigh your options. it feels like how it should have been all along, though maybe that just more says "using cheat engine to do all the optional oomfie hang outs in cold steel, is ass" than "the oomfie events aren't as good" but, really they are just so good here. and i appreciate that more and more as i get further into the game. i love these characters i really can't wait for the game to come out in english so more people can get to know them!
p.s. i did the pointing at the screen for a seemingly random old woman today
