six months or so later still having an amazing time (: have cleared the majority of level 17s that i have access to, though the ones remaining are harder than the others. i'm attempting 18s whenever the blaster gauge fills (every 13 songs or so) and i haven't cleared one yet but it'll happen before too long. and that's exciting! happy happy happy. anyways here is a score i got today. i think i can get the full combo since it's only 1 error on this score. very exciting very happy

was really excited when i got this today. even if the difficulty is lower it's still cool (:
am adding "play lower diff charts i haven't played" to my routine because wouldn't you know it. the game is fun to play even when you aren't challenging yourself to play harder charts.

they arrived today so i went ahead and put em in. i could immediately tell the difference between the old 50g and new 100g switches before i even put them in. like they are much more clicky just on the switch itself, and the buttons rebound much quicker. so it's a win in my books.
only waiting for the springs to arrive from australia so i'll have the advantages of the new switches + lighter springs bc my only complaint now is the buttons feel a bit heavy now. which was expected, and it's still better than before. the lighter springs will just make it Perfect 😌 i'm really excited about this! i could have just had the controller shipped with these in the first place, but doing it myself has been most satisfying.

its genuinely a little hard to tell if its like. easy and looks complicated, or hard and looks and is complicated. honestly the issue im having is that when i miss one it dims that laser out which makes the upcoming bits basically impossible to read. not impossible but absolutely harder. also this is just one sorta trick in the chart that i can't get. there's a few others! it's a meanie!
